How does the 3D printing process work?
After the project is over, backers will receive digital files. You can then use these files to print the meeples at home. If you don’t have a 3D printer, there are printing services available that can assist. Additionally, our commercial partners (backers at the Commercial tier) may be able to offer you the meeples already printed.

What material should I use for 3D printing?
Most of our designs are optimized for PLA, a common and user-friendly 3D printing material. They should also be compatible with resin for those using resin printers. However, your 3D printer’s capabilities may determine the suitability of other materials. To test the compatibility, you can download a free sample from our project page and see how it works with your chosen printing material.

Can I sell the meeples I print?
Our designs are intended for personal use only. Selling meeple prints or the digital files themselves is against our terms of use and infringes on our copyright. However, if you back the project at a lifetime commercial tier, you are permitted to sell the 3D printed variants of our designs. Please note that this does not extend to selling the digital files themselves or mass-produced products from factories.

Backing the campaign at any tier, even just for 1 euro, helps us gain more visibility on Kickstarter due to the platform’s algorithm favoring popular projects.

Will there be a pledge manager?
Yes, there will be a pledge manager. Approximately two weeks after the campaign ends, you will receive an invitation to BackerKit’s pledge manager. Here, you can confirm your pledge, upgrade your pledge level if you wish, and add any additional items through the add-ons option.

Will the Meeplify meeples be available after the Kickstarter campaign ends?
Yes, the Meeplify meeples will be available after the campaign ends. Approximately two weeks post-campaign, there will be a late pledge option; however, please note that the price will be higher at that stage. Therefore, we recommend backing the project during the Kickstarter campaign, even if it’s only for 1 Euro (the back without a reward option). This will grant you access to the pledge manager, where you can upgrade your pledge at the Kickstarter price. Several months after the campaign, the meeples will also become available on Cults and our MyMinifactory store.

How can I gain commercial rights for add-ons?
We offer a Commercial Bundle that includes every add-on from this campaign. Backers at the Lifetime Commercial License tier will have access to this bundle, which grants them commercial rights to all the included add-ons. This means they are permitted to sell 3D printed versions of these designs. Please remember, however, that this license does not extend to selling the digital files or mass-produced products.

How do the stretch goals work for the add-ons?
Our stretch goals are designed to unlock new meeple designs. Whether it’s a core meeple or a stretch goal meeple, each one will come with new variants for our add-on lines: Bake-A-Meeple, KeyKeepers, MagneticMates, and PagePals. This means, as we reach each stretch goal, we not only expand our core meeple offerings but also enrich the variety within each add-on category.

What should I do if I lose my rewards, for example, by accidentally deleting them from my PC?
No worries at all! The files will always be available. This means, if you lose them and need to redownload, you can do so at any point, whether it’s weeks, months, or even years later. We’re committed to ensuring you have lasting access to the rewards you’ve earned through our campaign.

Will the Lifetime Commercial backers receive a personal merchant ID?
Yes, indeed! All Lifetime Commercial backers will receive a unique personal ID. This ID must be displayed on your webshop for each listing of the Meeplify products. This measure helps us ensure that all commercial sales of our designs are fully authorized and in compliance with our terms.

Yes, the Commercial License for the Add-ons does indeed include the actual add-on files. When you choose this option, you’re not only purchasing the right to commercially use the designs, but you’re also receiving the STL files for all our add-ons.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
